Become a certified Surgical Technologist
Surgical technologists play a major role in high-tech operating rooms across the country. Also called surg techs, scrubs, and surgical or operating room technicians, surgical assistants work under the supervision of surgeons, passing instruments, holding retractors, cutting sutures and help count sponges, needles, supplies, instruments and more.
